December 1, 2023  A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at the New London High School Multi-Magnet Campus to celebrate the completion of construction. The New London High School is now an Inter-district magnet school attracting students from surrounding communities. This school houses 1,775 students in grades 6-12 following three academic pathways: STEM, Visual and Performing Arts, and International Baccalaureate. Principal-in-Charge, Michael LoSasso and Senior Associate, David C. Ferris attended the ceremony on behalf of Antinozzi Associates. The multi-phased construction project utilized much of the existing New London High School in the full renovation and addition of the facility. This project was managed by the Owner’s Representative, the Capitol Region Education Council, and constructed through a joint venture between Newfield Construction and the Downes Construction Company.

“Today, we celebrated the much anticipated ribbon-cutting ceremony at the New London High School Multi-Magnet Campus, and the results are truly stunning! Our staff, administration, students, and families couldn’t be happier. While a school building alone doesn’t educate our students, it undoubtedly enhances the overall learning experience. This remarkable campus will impact hundreds of students in the coming years. Today is indeed a moment of pride for the City of New London, Connecticut!”
