The Bridgeport community  celebrated a project years in the making on Thursday, September 21. The Wakeman Boys & Girls Club opened their doors to the state-of-the art facility on 595 Madison Avenue. Principal Michael Ayles, Senior Architect and Project Manager Manny Machado, and Interior Designer Brittney Dishian represented Antinozzi Associates at the ceremony. It was inspiring to hear from the different leaders and alumnus on how the Boys & Girls Club programs influenced their lives. After the ceremony, Wakeman Boys & Girls Club gave tours of the new facility and provided activities and giveaways.

The new building includes a dedicated teen space, gymnasium, auxiliary gym, early learning center, technology center, learning spaces, and playground. Wakeman is now open for various after school programs and camps.
