After several months ( and years) of discussing the need for an updated website for our firm, we finally pulled the proverbial trigger in Fall 2011 with the hiring of a local Bridgeport website/graphics consultant, Bananaland. Taking a website that was about 7 or 8 years old, designed in Flash, and was updated twice during its existence (the latest in 2010), was more difficult than we all thought. We knew we wanted a site that was creative yet simple, attractive yet functional, and displayed our work and people in a straightforward fashion … similar to our previous version. Hopefully, we have done that, and all those who visit the newly-designed site will see improvement in its simplicity. It is our goal to have a sustainable ‘strategy’ in which to use this blog and keep it updated with various information or discussion.
I would like to take a moment to thank Marcie and Jordan from Bananaland for their patience as we discovered that we can be just like our clients when making design decisions (and the inevitable changes) and appreciate their guidance throughout the process. My thanks to Lindsay, our Marketing Coordinator, for compiling loads of information for me and the other firm principals to review … sometimes in very short notice.
