On September 21, 2012, The National Housing and Rehabilitation Association (NH&RA) announced that Kuchma Corporation was the winner of the J. Timothy Anderson Award for Excellence in Historic Rehabilitation for their work on the Bijou Square Development Project, earning Best Historic Rehab Project Involving New Construction. The Bijou Square Development Project consists of retail shopping, entertainment, and residential buildings, located in the heart of Downtown Bridgeport. Antinozzi Associates was part of the development as the architect and interior designer for the Bijou Residential Apartments, a 117,300 SF residential building containing one and two bedroom units.
Paul Antinozzi will be attending the awards ceremony on Tuesday, October 30th in Boston, MA in conjunction with the association’s Annual Fall Developers Forum. The winners and finalists are from ten different states – Connecticut, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
